Priscilla a large tropical cyclone
Priscilla is a large tropical cyclone with the center west of the west central Mexican coast. The eastern spiral rain bands are affecting the mainland coast. The main effects from Priscilla will be locally heavy showers from the rain bands and increasing surf.

Forecast models keep Priscilla west of the mainland and Baja coast. It will strengthen and become a hurricane then weaken over colder water west of the Baja by late this week.
